Thank you for coming to my show
Hi friends,
I wanted to send a deep deep thank you for coming to my one-woman show earlier this month (either in person or virtually). The reflections that you have given me have filled me to the brim. And I am still in a little bit of shock that it actually HAPPENED.
I think it's going to take me a few months to fully digest and feel this one all the way through.
I have been a bit quiet on social media since the show as I am integrating all that came through me. What I want you to know is that you were a part of making a big dream come true. Since the time I was a little girl, I have always wanted my own stage. And I have always had a lot to say.
What I really landed in this show is how what I have to say is meaningful and NEEDED. And that I honestly never know exactly what is going to come out of my mouth, and that is the absolute perfection. I feel so much gratitude that I got have the experience of just sharing my full open heart and emotion and then feeling how much that impacted you, the audience.
Feeling back into that moment at the end of the show, I have to admit, I was a bit overwhelmed! I had poured out my heart and soul and complete rawness for about 75 minutes. AND, I could feel the depth of your gorgeous attention (both in person and virtual). It was SO much for me to receive that. For my body and my nervous system to fully open to receive the fullness of your attention. I can feel it all the way through me on such a visceral level as I type this. What an expansion that was.
There were a million reasons to not do this show on the tight timeline I had ( about 5 weeks!). But I just knew it was true to do it. And I learned what happens when I say, "It's on. Let's go." I backed myself 100%. There were so many things that were imperfect. And I learned. And grew. I am proud of how my "first swing" one woman show turned out.
The last thing I want you to know is that I sold $4,000 worth of tickets. And guess how much the wedding venue deposit was? $4,000. Isn't the universe absolutely WILD???!?! YOU were a part of that magic. This show was never about the money. But it most definitely was about the energy and the money is just a representation of that. Thank you for responding to the energy and hearing the call!
We are slowly working on a final replay cut that I am likely going to offer for people to "rent" for a period of time. I'm going nice and slow over here. I have gotten many requests for this.
